topic that i'd like to address is elevators and in san francisco given that we're such a dense urban environment with all of our buildings going up instead of out elevators are really what it takes to make an skeshl accessible home. and many may have seen an article in the kron c h.r. onicle about a week ago. what we learned in that article is the housing like many buildings has been having a hard time maintaining their elevators and these properties are affordable housing and by definition what we find in terms of of the population living in the buildings a high rate of older adults and people who are living with disabilities so when an elevator goes out for an hour or day or week what happens is people are either trapped in their homes or trapped outside of their homes but not able to go to the store or appointments or to visit or to engage so an elevator out age really has a big effect on people. by raising this issue i'm not trying to single out the housing authority because the housing authority is really just one example of a property owner that is faced with this problem. what we have in
